Lauren trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, and is one of the most prominent improvisers in the UK.
She is a cast member of the Olivier-award winning 'Showstopper! The Improvised Musical' performing with the company in the West End at the Lyric Theatre and in venues across the UK.
She is also a regular guest player with the acclaimed improvised comedy play 'Austentatious: An Improvised Jane Austen Novel', and with the renowned ‘Comedy Store Players’.
Lauren also performs in the two-person improv show
‘Breaking & Entering’ with Maria Peters. Together they
co-founded ‘The Playground', one of London’s leading improv comedy nights, which showcases new female talent as well as bringing together some of the most experienced improvisers in the country.
This year was also her eighth Edinburgh Festival, where she performed with Showstopper and Austentatious, as well as the new show 'Anxiety Club' with improvisers Charlotte Gittins (Austentatious) and Briony Redman (The Free Association).
Lauren travels internationally to study, perform and teach improvisation. She has studied at the iO in Chicago, and has performed at the Philadelphia Improv Festival and Impro Amsterdam 2019.
